TrainSpeedTest.net is a free browser-based tool provided for informational and recreational purposes. By using TrainSpeedTest.net, you agree to these terms.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Speed measurements provided by TrainSpeedTest.net are estimates derived from GPS data processed in your browser. They are not official railway speed measurements. TrainSpeedTest.net makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any speed data.

TrainSpeedTest.net is not: an official railway tracking system, a safety-critical instrument, affiliated with any railway operator, or a substitute for official train information services.

Limitation of Liability

TrainSpeedTest.net and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on speed data, GPS inaccuracies, service interruptions, or any other aspect of the service. Use TrainSpeedTest.net for informational purposes only.

GPS Permission

The speed test requires location permission from your browser. This permission is optional — you may use Demo Mode without granting GPS access. Granting location permission to TrainSpeedTest.net does not grant permission to any third party.

Prohibited Use

You may not use TrainSpeedTest.net in any way that violates applicable laws or railway regulations. Do not allow use of the app to distract you while in a potentially dangerous situation.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use of TrainSpeedTest.net after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
